You have done an excellent job of capturing Don Vito's likeness; it's very obvious who this is supposed to be! You've identified and expressed the elements of the character that make him iconic, and that is commendable.

I'm not sure if your copious use of solid lines is a deliberate part of your style, but I don't think it works on Vito's nose. The underside of the nose is not a solid line, and drawing the nostrils connected as you have done makes Vito look like he's got a missing septum.

There is a similar problem with the pinky finger on his hand--the underside requires a softer, more carefully placed transition from shadow to light. Drawing the edge of the shadows as a dark, solid line makes the finger look too skinny at the root. The hand is tricky and you have made a good effort in drawing it here, but I think his wrist looks too thin by comparison to the rest of his hand, and the thumb seems too far away from the other fingers.

You should try paying closer attention to form in terms of light and shade, instead of "lines", as setting in the areas of shadow and light are what will allow you to build up a smooth representation of your subject.

Sorry if it seems like I have been very critical of your work. I have focussed on what I think could be done to improve your work because you have requested critique; it does not mean this is a bad piece <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/> In the end, it's a very good representation of Don Vito with an interesting composition. Keep up the good work!
